Your gifts and passions can make a major difference at Willamette. Whether you prefer to be upfront and directly interact with people or you’d rather stick to behind the scenes work, there’s an opportunity for everyone to serve here.
Take a look at the different ministry areas, select one for more information about specific roles within it and then sign up to serve. Don’t worry about committing to an area and then finding out it isn’t right for you – we encourage you to give whatever you are interested in a try. We’ll check in to see how it went and can help you find another serving area if the one you chose wasn’t the right one for you!
Set Up / Tear Down
It takes a dedicated team of hardworking men and women to transform a gym into a space where those who enter on Sunday can fully experience the work and presence of God. Our setup & tear down team performs this feat every week, and also sets up rooms for other day-to-day activities in the church.
Willamette Christian Church is a caring community that loves God, loves people, and serves the world. We demonstrate this love by helping to meet the physical and emotional needs of others, along with their desire for connection.
Music & Production
The mission of the Music and Production department is to create opportunities and resources to respond to Jesus. If you are interested in getting involved please click the link below.
Willamette Kids is a caring community designed just for kids! All kids from birth through fifth grade experience a safe and fun environment where they can grow in relationship with friends, leaders, and God. Our desire is to partner with parents to be another voice in a child’s life so that child will know, love, and live their life for Jesus Christ.
At Willamette, we’re committed to offering a safe and secure environment for all who enter our doors. Our security team protects the integrity of the service and how people are receiving the message that’s being preached. The Security Team welcomes able-bodied men and women who have a heart to protect our children and families.
Willamette Students builds discipleship relationships with middle and high school students that center around the gospel of Jesus Christ. We do this through weekly gatherings on Sundays and Wednesdays. We want to come alongside these students as they are navigating Biblical truths in the day-to-day world they live in.
We want to make a great first impression for our guests! Whether they are weekend attendees or here for the first time, these teams create a warm, welcoming environment from the parking lot to the sanctuary and all points in between. These volunteers offer a friendly smile and information that will help guests experience the love of Jesus even before they hear about Him.
Because we desire to be a caring community, we create environments that allow for people to feel welcome and at home as they connect, receive care, and more. Our Hospitality Team provides support for a variety of events throughout the week using a wide skill set.
