HC Groups are small groups of 10-15 people at all stages of faith and life experience. A typical group meeting will include informal social time, study, and prayer.

Typically, these groups meet throughout the week in various homes across the city. Once you join a group, your leader will reach out to you and let you know the time and place of your first meeting.

If there’s space available, you can join a group at any time through the year. New groups usually form in September and January of each year.

There’s no cost to join a group. Occasionally, there may be study materials that each person or couple will need to invest in. (We have some scholarships available for individuals that may need help offsetting the financial cost of materials).

For families with little kiddos, we have a limited number of groups that offer childcare. Typically, childcare is provided at the same time and location as the group meeting. Each group coordinates their childcare independently. When you’re introduced to your group leader, they will be able to give you the specifics.

New groups will be doing a deeper dive into the current sermon series. Your group leader will come with a set of questions and lead the group discussion so you can gain a better understanding of the scripture and personal application of the principles you heard on Sunday.

Each group starts with a one year commitment, with groups typically taking a break for holidays and over the summer. If your group finds a good rhythm, you’re welcome to continue meeting into the next year as well.
