As the Executive Pastor of WCC I get to work with our staff team to plan, oversee and implement ministry. I build teams of volunteers who care for and support our church family in a variety of ways.

What’s your favorite thing to do on your days off?
Playing with my grandkids. Hanging with my husband. Staying home in Sherwood!
If you could have a superpower for a day, what would it be and why?
To be in 2 places at once.
If you could trade lives with any fictional character, who would it be and why?
Mary Poppins....I'd like to float on clouds and have an inordinate amount of wisdom.
If you could have dinner with any person from history, who would it be and why?
Gladys Aylward...I am fascinated by her devotion and willingness to live a life of discomfort and sacrifice for the Gospel. Her courage and determination changed my way of thinking 20 years ago.
Favorite Bible verse and why?
“Seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all these things shall be given to you as well.” ~ Matthew 6:33. Because if I get this right everything else follows.
If you could have a personal assistant for any aspect of your life, what would you choose? (e.g., cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc.)

What's the funniest nickname you've ever been given, and how did you earn it?
Wilma....my husband and I started calling each other Wilbur and Wilma early on in our marriage. We just thought it was funny.
