Mexico Team Support Update

Hi Wonderful Missions Team,

Thank you so much for your support and prayers for Team Mexico. The team leaves this Sunday (at 4:00 am), and they are filled with anticipation for the work God is already doing, will do, and will continue to do in and through the team in the next week. They will be back on June 30th at midnight.

Financial Update

Throughout the month of June, we invited Willamette's body to partner with the team financially. Kurt, Therese, and the team built an incredible "replica" in our lobby of the home they will be building. It gave the visual the church needed for conversation and a very, very generous response. We collected over $12,000 in the past few weeks for the House-2-Home initiative, for the building of the home, and the cost of the trip. Our God is good, and so, so faithful.

With the hard work our students have done raising support, it looks like, when all is said and done, the difference of what is spent and what has come in (including the cost of the building and furnishing of the house) will only be about $3000-$5000.

Please pray for protection over the team, unity, smooth time through the border (both ways), for the Lord to use the team and the Holy Spirit to move in and through them. Also, please pray for their families who will be back home. This isn't easy for them to let their students cross a border without them, and praying their faith can grow too through this time.
