Building a house for the Garcia-Fabian Family
In less than two weeks, WCC will be sending our team of high schoolers and adults (11 people total) to Ensenada, Mexico. Remarkably, in just FOUR SHORT DAYS, our team will construct a complete 16’ x 20' home for the Garcia-Fabian family, giving this family of five a safe place to rest their heads and create lifelong memories together.
For those of you not able to go with us, you have the opportunity to be part of the trip by becoming financial supporters in two distinct ways.
First, you can support the team’s overall travels and activities while in Ensenada. We need to raise a total of $12,500 by Sunday, June 25th (the day the team leaves for Mexico).
Second, our building partners, YUGO Ministries, does a wonderful job coordinating the construction of the home but doesn’t provide any of the furnishings. We’d like to go the extra step and fill their home with all the necessary things to make the house a home. We've already raised an additional $2,000 for the family so we can purchase things like dishes, pots & pans, bedding & blankets, and leave them gift cards for future needs.
To be part of this adventure and help change this family’s life, simply CLICK HERE and 100% of your donation will go towards the team and expenses in building and furnishing this special home. (You can also Venmo your donation to @WillametteChristianChurch.)
For those that would like to go the extra EXTRA step and pray for the team:
Please pray for safety and protection over the team's travels.
Pray our hearts will be impacted and moved to compassion.
For the Garcia-Fabian family who will soon be living in their new home.
As always, thank you for your generous hearts and prayers.
By God’s grace,
Jacob Miller, High School Pastor
