Event Description

Parenting in today’s world requires more than awareness. It requires courage, clarity, and the right words.

Join us for a three-week Crucial Conversations Lab designed to equip parents with both practical insight and helpful language to navigate some of the most complex topics facing our kids and teens today.

Each week, we’ll focus on one key area from experts in the field:

  • Mental Health
Understand the pressures your child is facing, recognize signs of struggle, and learn how to create safe, supportive conversations about anxiety, depression, identity, and resilience.
  • Technology & AI
From smartphones and social media to artificial intelligence, technology is shaping how kids think, learn, and relate. Gain perspective on the opportunities and risks, and practice language that fosters wisdom, boundaries, and discernment.
  • Gender & Sexuality
Engage this sensitive and often confusing topic with both biblical understanding and compassion. We’ll provide a framework for thoughtful conversations that reflect your values while keeping connection with your child at the center.

This lab is about helping you become a calm, confident presence in your child’s life as you lead them to know, love and follow Jesus. Join us as we learn, practice, and grow together.

Dates: April 19, April 26, and May 3
Time: 12:30-2pm
Cost: $30/person (childcare is available; registration required)
