God calls us to give voluntarily, cheerfully and sacrificially (Acts 2:44-47; Acts 4:32-35; 2 Cor. 8:1-5,7; 9:2,6-7,12-14; Prov. 3:9-10; 1 Tim. 6:17-19), which is the right response to a God who has been gracious to us.
About Giving Online
Our online giving is managed through Fellowship One. If you don’t have an account set up already, please click the Create an Account button below and follow the prompts. Otherwise, click Log-In and sign in with the email and password you used to register.
Your account will allow you to securely make gifts online on a one-time or automatically reoccurring basis.
One-time online giving is made easy by using the secure form below, hosted by Fellowship One. Simply provide your personal information, choose an amount, then the fund you want it to go into, and how often you want it to be charged to your card or e-check, provide your payment method, and you’re done! Your transaction will be made securely.
Giving statements are mailed out quarterly. If you have questions about giving statements or giving in general, please feel free to contact Dale Gibson, Business Pastor, by calling our front office at 503-656-2328 or email him at email@example.com.
If you would like to set up an automatic draft from your bank’s checking account, just complete the Direct Payment Authorization form and return it with a voided check to Business Pastor Dale Gibson to either the church mailing address or by dropping it in a Give box at weekend services. Then sit back as your requested offering of any amount is deducted automatically from your checking or savings account each month! This is the preferred method to automate recurring gifts, since there are no fees charged to either you or the church for this service.
Stocks and Bonds
Donations of stocks and bonds are gladly accepted at Willamette! If you are interested in doing so, please call our front office at 503-656-2328 and ask to speak with our Business Pastor, Dale Gibson, or email him directly. At that time we will provide you with our broker’s contact information to arrange transfer details. We may also gather your information at that time to make sure we can add the transaction to your giving statement!
Other Gifts / Donations
For other gifts not outlined elsewhere on our website, please contact our Business Pastor, Dale Gibson at 503-656-2328 or email him directly. Thank you for your generosity!
Willamette Christian Church is happy to provide our congregation with a path to sound biblical stewardship through their estate plans. To do this, we’ve partnered with Financial Planning Ministry, an organization with over 25 years of experience! Our partnership allows these services to be offered at no cost to you!
A Living Trust can keep your estate from going through the high costs and delays of probate, and unlike a will that becomes public after your passing, a Living Trust offers total confidentiality and complete control over your assets.
How does a living trust work?
Upon your passing, whomever you named at the time you established your Trust would immediately take control over your assets and distribute them according to your directions. There are no required waiting periods. You can name a legal “Guardian” in your Trust to care for your minor children at the time of your passing. You can also name a “Conservator” for yourself, should you at any time become disabled.
Assets are easily placed in the Trust by changing the title on your stocks, real estate, bank accounts, etc. The property will now be titled in the name of your Living Trust, with yourself named as the Trustee. It is still your property and you may continue to enjoy it or sell it as you choose, as you are the owner of your assets, and Trustee of your Living Trust. And, a Revocable Living Trust may be revoked or amended by you at any time in your lifetime.
Financial Peace University
We all need a plan for our money. Financial Peace University (FPU) is that plan! It teaches God’s ways of handling money. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get from where you are to where you’ve dreamed you could be. This plan will show you how to get rid of debt, manage your money, spend and save wisely, and much more!
At Willamette Christian Church, we believe that we are called to steward the resources God has entrusted to us. This means using our bodies, time, talents, possessions, and finances in a way that demonstrates our lives belong to him (Romans 12:1-2; Galations 5:22-26; Ephesians 5:15-17). We get to do this! This is an opportunity for us to build God’s family, placing him first in everything we do (Exodus 20:3).
Because we believe strongly in the vision God has given us, our community commits to giving financially on a regular basis. This isn’t a mindless obligation, however, it’s a cheerful and exciting act that supports the ministry of our church! We choose to sacrifice a portion of our income because we believe it’s the right response to a God who has been so gracious to us (Acts 2:44-47; Acts 4:32-35; 2 Cor. 8:1-5,7; 9:2,6-7,12-14; Prov. 3:9-10; 1 Tim. 6:17-19).
Where Your Dollar Goes
Each dollar given to Willamette is used to fund the amazing ministry taking place from our campus in West Linn all the way to Rwanda! Check out how we break down each dollar below:
