Vision Night Next Steps

Happy Thanksgiving Willamette Family! It was wonderful to spend some meaningful time together with so many of you at Vision Night. The room was full of laughter, warmth, and I pray that our hearts were united in seeking God’s direction for the next steps of our church.

For those of you that couldn’t make it - we recorded the entire event and have it available for you to watch (at the bottom of this page)! I believe with all my heart that Willamette is a 5-star church. The responsibility we are privileged to carry is big and exciting. And every 5-star church needs 5-star captains. People with unwavering faith who are also fully aware of our current realities and are unfazed by the challenges that lie ahead of us. And every 5-star captain needs to live out our “5 Core Practices: Attend, Connect, Serve, Give, Invite.”

Imagine a church where everyone didn’t merely “agree” with these core practices - but actually lived them out with intentionality! We would facilitate an environment for the Holy Spirit to draw us closer to Jesus and to his heart for our community and world. So one question remains: What’s your next play?

I would deeply appreciate you taking some time to fill out the form below as you evaluate your next steps. If you could fill this out this week, it would really help our team before the holiday rush hits! Again, thank you. I am honored to be a part of this church, and am grateful to be your pastor.

Your Next Play Form:

A five star church. Five star captains. Five Core Practices. Use the form below to let us know your thoughts and/or take a next step with each of the core practices that we want to embody. The goal is not perfection - but intentionally engaging in all five.

ATTEND

We understand the vital role we all play in creating irresistible environments for our guests. Our individual & consistent attendance creates an atmosphere of hope and anticipation.

CONNECT

Growing spiritually doesn't happen when we know what Jesus says. It happens when we apply what he says. Application happens best within the context of community. To grow spiritually, you have to be connected relationally.

SERVE

We believe when people engage in service, it leads to life change. Serving is a ripple effect that exponentially affects you and countless others.

GIVING
Giving honors God and helps other people. When we choose to give our income to the local church, we prove our trust in God and our belief that his purposes must be ours as well. Edit your giving preferences here.

INViTE

95% of people come to faith in Christ through the invitation or witness of a close friend. Our church was designed with your friends in mind so that we can anticipate them having a great experience.
