COVID-19 Update

HELLO WILLAMETTE FAMILY!

As you likely know, the COVID-19 numbers continue to drop and restrictions continue to lighten as we enter into this new summer season! We are so thankful for the opportunity that this provides us.

In light of the CDC’s latest announcements about the effectiveness of the COVID-19 Vaccine and the lifting of mask restrictions for vaccinated individuals, we are excited to enter a phase of no longer requiring masks for our student and adult gatherings and services at all locations.

We are still inviting everyone to continue to be cautious and considerate of fellow members of our community. Not everyone is in the same situation and we will all do well to extend grace & love to one another. Some will continue to wear masks because it is best for their personal situation while others will choose to no longer wear masks.

Until further information becomes available, we will still require that children ages five through fifth grade, and the leaders serving those children, continue to wear masks and practice our safety guidelines while serving upstairs in Willamette Kids.

Day by day we are welcoming new and returning folks to Willamette. We have seen a 200+% increase of in-person attendance over the past couple of months. It's been wonderful to meet new people, celebrate ministry together, and expand our reach into our community.

For those of you who are not yet ready to return to in-person gatherings, I want you to feel no pressure. Stay connected, keep loving Jesus, and we’ll see you when you’re able to return to in-person gatherings.

Thanks, church family. I couldn’t have asked for a better reception in this new season for our family. I along with Jenn and our girls have truly felt the warmth of your care and support. I’m so grateful for your love for our church.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us. Let’s continue to trust God with each step as we continue to journey together into this next season.

Grace & Peace,

Brian Becker
