Middle School

Our goal is to see middle school students grow deeper in their faith as they make it their own. We’re here to help them begin to understand the difference between knowing about God and knowing God.

We meet every Sunday morning during the 11:15am service over at The Summit. Students have the opportunity to connect through fun games, great worship, and awesome small groups. In addition, each week includes a practical message that each student can take with them and apply at home and school.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Students can either be dropped off directly at The Summit starting 15 minutes before the start of service, or they can walk across the street from our main building (crossing guards are on duty). We do not have a formal check-in or check-out process for students. After service ends, feel free to pick your student up at The Summit or have them meet you back at the main building.

Best. Summer. Ever.

August 10-14, 2020

Every August we take hundreds of students to camp for a week of fun and of growth in their faith.

Black Lake is our annual Middle School Camp for incoming 6th, 7th, 8th, and outgoing 8th graders! This is a great way for your student to get connected in our middle school program, have a fun summer adventure, and grow in their faith. There’s something at this camp for everyone, whether their new to following Jesus or have a deep relationship with Him.

We have awesome boys’ and girls’ Bible studies that meet at WCC before school during the school year. Students get the opportunity to go deeper into the Bible and be in community.

Following studies on both Tuesdays and Thursdays, Rosemont Ridge students will walk to school. If your student is attending Athey Creek Middle School or elsewhere, please plan on picking them up by 8:50 so they can get to school on time.

Girls’ Bible Studies
Thursdays 7:40 – 8:45am *

A light breakfast will be provided before girls split up into their different groups.

Boys’ Bible Studies
Tuesdays 7:40 – 8:45am *

Run in partnership with Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), our Tuesday morning Bible study begins with a light breakfast in the gym. Later, the boys split into two groups, one for 6th/7th graders and one for 8th graders.

If you are willing to drive or assist the boys’ or girls’ Bible studies in some way, or have any questions regarding these Bible studies, please email Pastor Dayne Scanlon.

  • Boys’ and girls’ Bible studies do not meet on no-school days.

The Block Party

The Block Party is a drop-in after school hangout space for West Linn middle schoolers located in the Cascade Summit Shopping Center.

With an industrial loft feel, the Summit was designed with teens in mind. It’s a comfortable place to talk, share a snack with friends, play video games and more.

Currently suspended due to school closures related to COVID-19.
