Worship Team Member (Up-Front)
Commitment: Once every 4-6 weeks for all Sunday services (includes a Thursday evening worship practice 6:30-8:30pm, 10-12 hours total)
We believe that worship is more than a song, highlighted by cool lighting and sound. It is a genuine expression of gratitude and adoration for God, and an opening of one’s heart to God’s will for your life. It is our genuine, heartfelt offering of worship to God. Whether it’s using our voices or instruments, we strive to worship as skillfully as possible (Psalm 33:3). If you have a musical talent – whether voice or other relevant instrument – we would love to get to know you and have you join in our next audition.
REQUIREMENTS: Have a musical talent, whether voice or other relevant instrument. Must complete a background check and a live audition. Regular attender of WCC.
ProPresenter Operator (Behind-the-Scenes)
Commitment: Once a month for all Sunday services (includes a Thursday evening worship practice 6:30-8:30pm, 10-12 hours total)
The ProPresenter operator is in charge of the content displayed onscreen during service (lyrics, scripture, video, etc.). This not-so-visible part of our production team is critical in helping people engage in our worship service.
REQUIREMENTS: Physically able to climb ladder and maintain focus for extended period of time. ProPresenter training provided.
Lighting Board/Video Board Operator (Behind-the-Scenes)
Commitment: once a month for all Sunday services, 7-9 hours total
The lighting board/video board operator creates the mood during our worship service using our lighting board. (Don’t worry – it’s preprogrammed so you don’t have to be an expert!) This not-so visible position helps those watching a live video feed of the service in other areas of our building remain engaged by displaying proper content on the TV screens during service.
REQUIREMENTS: Physically able to climb ladder and maintain focus for extended period of time. Necessary training provided.
Commitment: As needed; no specific time commitment
Photographers will be assigned to specific projects to capture live action shots from Willamette events, or to create an inventory of stock photos that we might use in series artwork. If you have your own equipment, great! If not, no problem.
REQUIREMENTS: Personal equipment isn’t necessary but is welcomed (limited training provided.
Videographer (Behind the Scenes)
Commitment: 1-2 hours a week
Our videographer will aid in the weekly filming, audio syncing and rendering of the video announcements. May also assist with special projects as needed. If you are skilled in any of these areas let us know!
REQUIREMENTS: A working knowledge of camera operation and/or sound. Experience in Final Cut is a bonus!
